Why is a cold water humidifier better than a hot water humidifier?
Some people say the hot water one doesn't put bacteria in the air.....I know they should always be cleaned. Thanks...

@Barbara: Warm water promotes more bacterial growth both in the water chamber and in the tubes/openings that conduct the moisture out into the air. I prefer cold because there's just less of a chance of bacterial overgrowth. And yes, to your point, regardless of which option you choose, they both need to be cleaned daily to be safe.
