Hi Dr Schultz i do have a problem although its not as described in this video, I am very fair unfortunately my kneecaps are very dark i have never exposed my legs to the sun or even worn anything over my knee for that matter of fact. I am completely fit and healthy so why do i have this problem and i think its been like this since 4-5 years its quite embarassing and when i asked my doctor he said i was over reacting, but im not they are seriously like dark brown and my legs are white what do i do ..would something like bio oil or lemon remedies work? please help

i scrub,moisturise and do everything but nothing seems to work by the way im only 14

@Neha: That problem is often caused by rubbing, especially from kneeling on your knees on the ground repeatedly. Using topical chemical exfoliants and bleaches every night and chem-free sunblocks during the day will often help within one to two months. If not, then a visit to a dermatologist might be helpful.
